Anyone living in a split time zone can appreciate what the anglers face this week on Lake Seminole. Splitting the lake on its western side is the Chattahoochee River, running north and south and dividing the state lines of Georgia and Florida. Fish on the Georgia side, to the east, and you are one hour ahead. Take away that hour with a boat run across the river to Florida and you must subtract that same hour.
Being unconscientious of that time change might be a foolish move that can’t be counted out. Minds begin to click and get focused on fishing. A quick glance of the clock brings acknowledgment of the current time. Or does it?
The proof will be anyone who shows up an hour early or late. Surely not, but you never know.
