Mouse. Snake. Bird. Those are just a few of the creatures known as prey to the largemouth bass. The predator fish at the top of the food chain will eat just about anything.
Bob Walton can prove it.
That proof was discovered when the angler returned to the weigh-in to bag his fish for the scales.
B.A.S.S. rules prohibit weighing a fish with a foreign object, such as a shad, or any of the creatures listed above unless they are lodged inside its mouth.
No word as of yet if Walton plans to pitch what this bass ate—and regurgitated—to a lure company as the latest lifelike bait.
