Canada is known for having some of the best deer hunting and smallmouth bass fishing in the world. Of the many accolades showered upon its fertile lands and waters, you’ll never hear any mention of spotted bass. They just don’t grow there.
But Canadian anglers Jeff Gustafson and Cory Johnston recently joined the Bassmaster Elite Series — and through their travels, they’ve realized that spotted bass behave quite similarly to their smallmouth cousins.
