He used a 3/8-ounce Hildebrandt Drum Roller Swimbait, designed by Schultz for redfish, and prerigged with a Z-Man MinnowZ swimbait. The bait is made of tin, which is two-thirds the weight of lead, thereby allowing the bait to stay higher in the water column during the retrieve.
