If you like Fred Roumbanis’ swim jig, you’ll love the Boom-Boom Plus, which features a wire attachment arm running along the hook shank to which you can connect a treble trailer hook or willowleaf blade, both included in the package.Â

With the Commando, you choose the hook and it swings free, offering better action and better hookup percentages. It comes with a 3-inch simbait and a 4/0 feathered treble.

The classic Rogue got a makeover for this year with sharper hooks, an internal weight transfer system and a number of sharp new color schemes. But, it’s still got that old “Rogue roll” that made it so popular and effective.

The Buzz Plug is a retro-looking topwater that might be what your tacklebox has been missing. It’s part buzzbait, part chugger and all commotion. The double upturned hook allows this critter to crawl over logs, muck and detritus, and its buoyancy allows you to stop it on the retrieve, unlike a regular buzzbait.

Bomber has released a slew of new colors for the venerable Long A.

This little guy is no lightweight in shallow-water fishing. Its unique bill and high buoyancy keep it snag-free and rolling and wobbling erratically. Gamakatsu hooks keep fish buttoned up.

Tested by Japanese monster bass angler Tetsuya Nakamura, the Body Balance jighead has proved itself as a deadly swimbait weapon. Featuring a double hook-keeper and a low center-of-gravity design, the Body Balance keeps swimbaits running true, and minimizes the body twist that can spook wise old lunkers, and throw hook-points off target.

Duo, maker of the high-end Realis line of hardbaits, is revealing a few prototypes at ICAST 2013. This is what the new Realis jerkbait will look like.

Here’s the crankbait, a squarebill.

The swimbait will be a streamlined, jointed number.

The Yeljim spinnerbait only looks like a spinnerbait but as the owner says, “It ain’t a spinnerbait!” Of course he’s right, as there’s no swivel on this bait. The top blade shimmys and vibrates up, down and side-to-side with more flash and vibration than a regular spinnerbait can afford.

Megabass designed this small crankbait to create as much flash as possible upon retrieve. The “willow bill” permits a sharp wobbling action and the Triangle Balancing System allows for good casting and what Megabass considers the ideal swimming postion.

The Hildebrandt Drum Roller was designed with a tin head rather than lead so it can be more effectively slow rolled. The wire arm is also flexible as opposed to fixed so fish have a lesser chance of throwing the bait.

New from the company that brought you the Road Runner is the Blakemore Bang Shad Buffet, a twin-bait presentation for a pair of Bass Assassin swimbaits on Road Runner heads that has a unique swimming action and comes in 11 colors.

The Megabass Venom is a heavy spinnerbait that’s made with premium components. A ball bearing swivel, 3-D eyes and a flat rubber skirt make it one of the most lifelike spinnerbaits on the market. The heavy wire arm is also highly bend resistant.

The Drum Roller Jig is the Drum Roller without a blade for a more subtle presentation. Like the Drum Roller, the head is tin.

This tiny popper is ideal for high-pressure situations. It features a feathered treble hook and lifelike scales and eyes.

The R.T.X. Jig is the ultimate flippin’ jig. It has a bullet-shaped head that will penetrate the thickest of weeds, and its double-barbed keeper will keep your trailer in place.

It’s got al the action and fish-catching ability you’ve come to expect from Lucky Craft, but it ratchets up the lunker quotient just a hair with its 110-mm size and gaff-like hooks. The Flash Pointer 115MR is a slow-sinking jerkbait that’s loaded with all of Lucky Craft’s fish-catching ability in a slightly larger size. Â

The “spy baiting” technique has just gained a popular following in Japan and light-line enthusuiasts in the US are grabbing on to this new technique. The weighted body sinks horizontally and shimmys as it descends, then wobbles slightly on a steady retrieve. It’s deadly in clear water or in high pressure situations.

This plus-size spinnerbait will weigh roughly 1 3/4 ounce, and is made with heavy-strain wire and is best suited for fisheries that are home to larger bass, such as south Texas and Mexico.

Duo’s largest jerkbait weighs in a roughly 5/8 ounce, is made of ABS welded plastic, has internal wall reinforcement, and has an efficient weight transfer system. Tour anglers are already heaving this in cast-for-cash derbies. Upon retrieve, it has a high rotation for extra flash.

This tiny crankbait/jerkbait hybrid features a cupped bill that offers a sharp diving angle to reach roughly 8 feet.Â

Pace’s swimming jig features a stout hook and a head shape that slides through grass and weeds with ease.

Floatback Lures is the first hard bait company to offer a hook ejection system. What that means is when a fish bites, the hooks both come free of the bait for a better hookup ratio

This hollow body frog has a cupped, popping mouth with bubble jets that leaves a trail of bubbles behind it. Use it for walking a frog or aggressive pops for a chugging sound.

The Racer Crank is part of Sebile’s new value-priced lures, the Action First line. The line feature all the high-end attributes that make Sebile lures top-notch, but have a more reasonable price. The Bull Crank is a wrecking ball designed to smash into cover and get bass out of their hiding places.

The Bull Minnow is a shallow-diving jerkbait or twitchbait.

This is one of two lipless crankbaits that are part of the Action First line.

The Star Shiner is a deeper-diving jerkbait.

The Vibe Machine is a lipless crankbait that has more vibration than rattling sound.

If Kevin VanDam puts his name on something, you know that it’s going to catch fish. This flat sided version of his crankbait line is better suited for cold water with its tight shimmy.

This spinnerbait is the one that KVD himself puts his name and logo on. Its trailer is cut to his specifications as is the wire and skirt.

Seeing a pattern here? KVD himself was turned loose in Strike King’s lure design lab and this premium topwater is the resulting popper.

This is like no other bladed jig you’ve seen. It’s got a unique action that chops up the shallows and bashes off cover with reckless, fish-attracting abandon.
