What does it do?
It dives 2- to 2 1/2-feet deep while rattling and rolling side to side (hold the shaking).
Why do I need it?
To crash, bang and smash through shallow cover, alerting bass that an easy meal is approaching.
How do I use it?
Like any square bill; run it around shallow cover or structure, such as riprap, grasslines, or wood like laydowns and stumps. While the bill helps these things deflect off of cover, it’s the buoyancy that really keeps them out of trouble. If it gets snagged, simply let off the pressure and it should float backward and away from the object.
What sets it apart?
These square bills have a shallow bill angle, which allows them to dive to 2 1/2 feet, and the body is classic Mann’s 1-Minus, so you know these things can catch fish. Plus, they’ve got Eagle Claw’s Lazer Sharp treble hooks. Ten colors are currently available.
