What is it?
Storm 360 GT Searchbait
What sets it apart?
The GT stands for “go-to,” while the 360 part encourages anglers to cast this bait all around the boat. Indeed, Storm’s new release is billed as a user-friendly search bait with wide-ranging applicability — a true cast-and-wind bait.
Design features include a single-ball rattling jig head with 3D holographic eyes, slender profile with back ridges and a toe-in boot tail that elicits incredible vibrating action at any retrieve speed. A slim tail going to the boot makes the bait move side to side, just like a fish trying to propel through the water
Notably, the 360 GT bodies are free of phthalates, potentially harmful chemicals often used to soften plastics.
How do I use it?
Made with realistic gill designs, the head fits snugly into the body’s forward notch. Heads include VMC Coastal Black hook with a 60-degree angle on the line tie to keep the lure oriented in the ideal swimming posture. Notably, the line tie’s extended neck, raises the pull point off the head. This, along with the bait’s narrowing belly, promotes an enticing roll.
The 360GT Searchbait is available in three sizes: 3.5-inch (1/8-ounce), 4.5-inch (1/4-ounce), 5.5-inch (3/8-ounce), each with one fully rigged bait and two replacement bodies. Available in 11 colors that cover a range of common baitfish patterns.
How much?
$4.99-5.99

Angler’s insight:
Printing the weight (ounces & grams) on the underside of each head was a nice touch. Also well thought out are the entrance and exit holes, which facilitate rigging. The forward hole where the hook enters is fairly clear, but I found the exit hole on the back harder to locate on the smaller model – particularly in lighter colors. Bait hack: Run your fingertip forward along the back and you’ll feel the hole easy enough.
