What is it?
Raymarine Axiom
What sets it apart?
Raymarine’s new family of Multifunction Displays (MFD) feature lifelike imagery via Raymarine’s exclusive RealVision 3D for superior underwater fish and structure identification from a single transducer. Raymarine’s new LightHouse 3 operating system (pre-installed) works with Axiom’s quad core processor for fast, intuitive operation of a redesigned interface that’s easy to learn and personalize. Raymarine added Smart Context Windows and New Chart Modes for uncluttered menus with quick access to Simple, Detailed and Fishing chart modes.
How do I use it?
With rugged, all-glass touch screens available in 7-, 9-, and 12.1-inch display sizes, Axiom combines CHIRP DownVision, CHIRP SideVision, High Frequency CHIRP and RealVision 3D into a single wide-spectrum transducer housing. Active Gyro Stabilization ensures a clear picture of what’s below, behind and to the sides of the boat — all at once. Moreover, Axiom gives you the option of three cartography choices in one MFD: Navionics cartography, C-MAP by Jeppesen and Raymarine’s ever-expanding range of LightHouse charts.

Angler’s insight:
If the fish had any remaining ability to hide, it’s pretty much gone, thanks in large part the Raymarine Axiom lineup. Incredibly clear views of the entire underwater scene — the structure, cover, fish and forage — provide the minute details an angler needs for prudent decision making. Pretty cool how Axiom enables you to pan, tilt and zoom the 3D image to explore an area or specific piece of cover from any angle, including unique points of view like standing on the lake bottom and looking up to the bottom of the boat.
