Brandon Cobb continued his hot streak with his third straight Elite Series Top 10 at Lay Lake. The current Progressive Angler of the Year leader scored 276 points while being selected by 19.3% of players.
Second best selection: The two highest player percentages paid off in Bucket A as Scott Canterbury was the second-best choice. The Alabama native scored 257 points and was selected at 20.5% player percentage – the highest in the Bucket.
Lowest scoring angler: Fresh off of a win at Santee Cooper, Luke Palmer wasn’t able to get it going at Lay Lake. The Oklahoma pro scored just 79 points while being selected by 0.7% of players.

Brandon Palaniuk led the tournament all the way up until the final moments. The two-time AOY winner fell just two ounces short of claiming his sixth Elite Series win. Palaniuk scored 310 points for the 26.2% of players who selected him.
Second best selection: Jay Przekurat notched his first Top 10 of the Elite Series season at Lay Lake. The Wisconsin angler scored 280 points and was selected by 4.2% of players in the Bucket.
Lowest scoring angler: Clark Wendlandt never got a solid pattern established and only scored 81 points. The Texan was selected by 0.9% of players.
BUCKET C: CHRISTIE
If it wasn’t for the loss of a big fish on Championship Sunday, Jason Christie would have taken home his sixth Elite Series trophy. The Oklahoma pro scored 290 points for the 16.9% of players who selected him.
Second best selection: Justin Hamner notched a Top 10 in his home state and ended up being the second-best choice in Bucket C. Hamner scored 264 points for the 8.6% of players who selected him.
Lowest scoring angler: Micah Frazier had a tough event at Lay Lake. The Georgia native scored just 71 points for the 0.7% of players that selected him.
BUCKET D: CLOUSE
Gary Clouse had his best finish of the year to this point at Lay Lake with a 13th place finish. Clouse scored 251 points for the 0.2% of players that selected him.

Second best selection: Bucket E had three anglers inside the Top 10, but Bryan New was the second-best choice. New got back on track at Lay Lake by scoring 285 points for the 9.1% of players that selected him.
Lowest scoring angler: Rick Clunn wasn’t able to get it going at Lay Lake. The legendary angler scored just 73 points for the 0.6% of players that selected him.
