Before I get into tournament coverage, I just wanted to say thanks for the cards, texts, phone calls, and most of all your prayers as I travel along this cancer journey. I am happy to report my oncologist informed me several weeks ago I am in remission. God is good! Keep that prayer energy going for those around you in need. None of us have to look far to find someone who needs prayer.
Now that I am retired it, has been a pleasure to sit on the couch and follow all the Bassmaster Elite action on both FS1 and Bassmaster.com. The competition thus far has been great and the coverage outstanding. As usual Tommy Sanders, Mark Zona, Davy Hite, Dave Mercer, Ronnie Moore, Mike ‘Sooch’ Suchan and all the folks at JM Associates do a great job.
For the Bassmaster.com crew, I love the enhanced BassTrakk features and photo galleries. I encourage all of you to dive deeper into BassTrakk by clicking on the angler to get his updated catches along with following the Phoenix Boats Big Bass of the Day.
A big shout out to the tournament crew as well. I miss you guys, but know you are doing an outstanding job. Not without some issues including wind, flooding, fog, etc. Thanks for keeping the anglers, Bassmaster Marshals and cameramen safe.
Congrats to rookie Bryan New, Jeff Gustafson, Bill Lowen and Jason Christie on great victories. Well done! And I would be remiss not to mention Brock Mosley and Seth Feider for great seasons thus far.
Until next time, from the couch looking out at Lake Jordan, Alabama, good fishing to all.
