Hey guys, several of you have asked me why I spent two weeks on the Delta this winter. Here's the answer: Part of it is because I really want to win this year. Classic opportunities only come along so often. You have to take full advantage of them.
I'm still on the Delta getting ready for February. I wish I could report I'm catching a lot of big ones, but the truth is I'm spending about 80 percent of my time eliminating water. That's not all bad, though.
I'm on the Louisiana Delta getting ready for the Classic. Is this place ever different! I feel like I've never been here before even though this is where I won the Classic back in 2003. The storms and the response to them have really changed things.
Becky here. It's Thursday and Mike's out on the water fishing, so I'm going to fill in for him. A fellow won a day on the water with him through the USO. They picked today (Thursday, Nov. 11). That's kind of neat isn't it? It's fitting that the USO winner is going out with Mike on Veterans Day. It couldn't be any better.
