Jacob Powroznik is as competitive and self-confident as any man on the Bassmaster Elite Series. He proved that last year during his rookie season, when he finished 4th in the AOY standings.
It doesn't matter if it's bass fishing, bowling or beer pong, Powroznik plays to win.
If I had to pick a winner for this Classic, it would be Powroznik. I haven't talked to all 56 competitors over the last two days, but I've talked to a bunch. No one seemed more confident after practice or less bothered by the cold than the well-insulated Powroznik.
Considering how some of these guys will poor-mouth their chances even when they know their going to sack 'em up, that prediction means as much as the paper it's printed on. And, obviously, it's not printed on paper. So consider the source.
