Despite having trolling motor issues, Matt Herren is fishing docks. He's using his big motor when he wants to move more than 30 or 40 feet, then the trolling motor appears to have enough juice for the smaller moves. This strategy worked; he just caught a 3-pounder. "That's what I call a good Sunday on the Tennessee River!" he hollered. When the crowd didn't have a big response, he admonished them. "Can't I get a little more enthusiasm for that?" Soon after, he landed a 1 1/4-pound bass. By my estimate, he may have 6 pounds in the livewell.
