Jeff Gustafson has led the last 52 hours or so of the 53rd Bassmaster Classic with relative ease, since he took the lead around 11 AM on Day 1. He has 30 minutes left to fish now, and these last moments are going to be anything but easy.
When Gussy has to pull his trolling motor around 2:15 local time, Scott Canterbury and John Cox will still have another 20 minutes or so to fish. This duo that sits closest to Gussy in the standings is fishing much closer to the ramp than the Canadian.
Despite what we thought we’d see today, this one is coming down to the wire.
